The Life Of Elizabeth I by Alison Weir

51moiwcyvgl_bo2204203200_pisitb-sticker-arrow-clicktopright35-76_aa240_sh20_ou01_I love Alison Weirs books. They are easy to read yet deep in understanding and content and her wonderful biography of Elizabeth I is no exception. I have taken my time to read this biography over the past month – drinking in the details of Elizabeth and her reign. I do believe, in respects to the survival of the Church of England and the Anglican Church, Elizabeth is vital and therefore a must read for all Anglicans (and of course non-anglicans!!).

Her reign is quite remarkable – not least because she was a woman who remained unmarried, thus running and governing a nation in a world dominated by men.

First rate book by Alison Weir.
